All
of our artist Giclée prints are done on museum quality paper or canvas
using archival inks tested not to fade for over 100 years. From the French
word meaning "spray of ink", a Giclée is a print created by
using state of the art computer technology to reproduce images.
By
printing the image on media much like that used for the original -
artwork stunningly similar to the original is created. With the advent of
Giclée, the art of fine art printing has become even more precise.
Because no screens are used, the prints have a higher apparent resolution
than lithographs. The dynamic color range is like serigraphy. The latest
advancements in this Giclée process are the work of a sophisticated fine
art production facility that utilizes the highest resolution digital
printers.
This
edition of fine art prints is a collaboration between the artist and a
specially trained printing craftsman to insure quality standards for the
collector. These Giclée prints capture every nuance of an original
painting, be it watercolor, oil or acrylic.
